“I paint my relationship with the world.
I’m attached to the fragility and delicacy of relationships.
I portray what connects us.
My theme is otherness.
I am nature, I am animal, vegetable, mineral,
but I am also the emptiness that separates us
and the links that unite us…
“My work is circular; cycles return.
The works are built up in layers,
by the construction and deconstruction of the image.
I work as close as possible to real size because I want to place the viewer in the image; scale is part of the content.
